Here are 5 simple study-smart behaviours to improve your grades in my course(s):
- Spend time on my course.
Devote an appropriate amount of time and effort to the course, attend all lectures, field trips and assignments, and read the text and internet/web material.
You never know when you will pick up an intellectual gem!
- Manage that time
Schedule your study time so that you master the material presented in each class before the beginning of the next class.
- Interact with your classmates.
Share information and study tips with your classmates and regularly study and collaborate with them.
- Interact with your instructors.
Interact with the GTA's and with your professors, both in the classroom and out of it; get to know us personally - we can be quite reasonable!
- Spend time on campus.
Immerse yourself in this academic environment, especially EngSoc and related WerSoc activities, and other student associations, perhaps take a leadership role in them.
